Google to start marking non SSL websites 'not secure' from July...

2 Jul 2018

From later this month, Google will start marking any websites that do not have a security certificate, SSL, are not served by the encrypted https: protocol as 'not secure' to all your visitors - you can read their announcement here

It will be rolled out with the latest version of Google Chrome, but you can be sure that other browsers will follow suit in time

All websites that we manage with a maintenance contract have already been upgraded to SSL status, but if you maintain your own website and require a SSL certificate installed and configured for your domain please open a support ticket and we can do this for £25. (You can check if your site is already enabled by looking for the green padlock and the word secure in the address bar)

Any questions please get in touch.
